In 1976, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (MIET), Faculty of Physics and Technology, majoring in Automation and Electronics.
From 1976–1978, Engineer at the Research Institute of Physical Problems.
From 1978–1981, Postgraduate student of MIET.
1981–1983 – Assistant of the Department of Microelectronics MIET.
Since 1983, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences: dissertation Self-Oscillations under the Influence of Concentrated Energy Sources on Matter.
1983–1990 – Senior Researcher, Institute of Metallurgy, USSR Academy of Sciences.
1990–1999 – Head of the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (TEF) MIET.
Since 1989 – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics: dissertation Self-Oscillating Processes under the Influence of Concentrated Energy Flows on Materials.
From 1999 to the present time – Head of the Department of Biomedical Systems (BMS) MIET.
He holds the title of Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (since 1993).
Member of the international Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Editor-in-chief of the journal Biomedical Engineering.
Scientific activity
Research interests: Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics.
Author of more than 200 scientific papers. Has participated in more than 70 international, all-Union and all-Russian conferences.
