Until 1991, the scientific journal “Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii of the USSR Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education. Radioelektronika” (Kiev Polytechnic Institute) was published in the USSR. Following the creation of the Russian Federation as an independent state, there was a need to create a national journal in the leading field of radioelectronics, reflecting the scientific achievements of employees of higher education institutions in Russia. The “Journal of the Russian Universities. Radioelectronics (Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii Rossii. Radioelektronika)”, which has been published since 1998, is aimed at scientists and university professors, as well as doctoral students, graduate students and senior students of higher educational institutions, scientific and engineering workers of research institutes, universities, industrial enterprises, organisations of the electronic industry of Russia and specialists working in areas corresponding to the thematic areas of the journal.
