- in 1979 graduated from LETI as an engineer in Radio Engineering,
- in 1984 defended Ph.D. thesis in Engineering Science,
- in 2000 defended Doctor’s thesis in Engineering Science in the specialty 05.12.01 - «Theoretical Basics of Radio Engineering»,
- since graduation in 1979 has been working in LETI as a Dean (1988) and as a Professor (2001),
- in 2007 appointed to the position of a Dean of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications,
- in 2009 appointed to the position of the Head of the Department of Radio Electronic Equipment,
- Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Russian Universities. Radioelectronics
Area of Expertise – mathematical modeling, calculus, microwave engineering, antennas for broadcasting, communications and telemetric systems; applied electrodynamics, applied programming; information networks; mobile communication, broad-band wireless access, information security; the author of more than 100 scientific publications and 8 inventions.
Awards: insignia of Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, medal of 300th Anniversary of Saint Petersburg, insignia of Honored Radio Operator, insignia of Merit for Radioelectronics and Communications Development, recipient of the Prize of the Russian Federation Government for Distinguished Service to the Cause of Higher and Secondary Professional Education (2016)
